The Problem
Supplying MicroAire’s worldwide customer-facing support teams with accurate, current, and well-branded sales and marketing materials is not an easy task. MircoAire’s growth made it necessary for the company to examine the entire sales process and consider automated solutions that enable employees to access the tools and collateral they need on demand. The evolution of new processes would also address pre-printed inventory levels, logistics, and create easier order processing. McClung worked to understand MicroAire needs and proposed an Asset Management System (AMS) that allowed employees to use their phone or laptop to access an online portal that’s available 24/7 from anywhere in the world.

The Solution
From a customized MicroAire AMS digital portal, sales and support staff could quickly and easily order, print, and deliver the exact literature they needed. Plus, the AMS helped eliminate excess inventory, reduce human intervention, and allowed marketing to maintain control of product information and the brand. Healthcare is a complicated environment where appointments are granted on short notice, and if that appointment isn’t able to be met, then the window of opportunity may disappear. To put it plainly, the nightmare scenario is one where MicroAire's staff in the field are offered an appointment at a healthcare facility with only a small amount of lead time. Since it would be nearly impossible to have every piece of collateral on-hand at any given time, field sales teams needed a solution for generating up-to-date printed materials to support their specific visit. McClung’s AMS answered the call. Reps from any time zone could order exactly what was needed and have it printed and delivered directly to an office or hotel.
