In 2023/2024, when the client sought cost-saving opportunities, Superior successfully implemented a substrate substitution, achieving an average of 14% savings for the customer.

 

Seamless Transition & Supply Chain Excellence

To guarantee a smooth transition, Superior conducted extensive equipment trials and material testing, ensuring the new substrate met all quality and performance standards. A custom supply-chain program was also established in collaboration with vendors, optimizing the use of imported paperboard for long-term savings and efficiency.

Superior oversees the client's full carton packaging supply chain through a Work-in-Progress (WIP) dashboard, which includes:

  • 74 active SKUs

  • 43 custom colors

  • 13 CAD designs

  • Monthly reserved production slots
